Jenna at (https://www.graceandmotherhood.com) recognized my efforts as a blogger by awarding me the Liebster Award.
The Liebster award is a way to recognize new bloggers, or those with 200 or less followers, in the blogging community. Yet, if you feel a blogger should be recognized for their efforts you may nominate them, be they new or a long time blogger. I’m thrilled to be recognized by a fellow writer in the blogging community.
“‘Liebster’ is a German word meaning beloved or dearest. This Award is given to bloggers by other bloggers. Many see it as a way of promoting and recognizing fellow bloggers, for their efforts and accomplishments in the blogging world.”
Blogging is a fun, exhausting, and a never-ending journey, that sometimes leaves me wondering is anyone listening or cares about what I share with the world. Receiving this award is a recognition that yes, someone is listening, thinks I’m doing a good job, and does want to read what I have to say. With great appreciation I accept this award. Thanks Jenna!
Since this award is about getting to know fellow bloggers it comes with a few things to do. I’m happy to answer the questions and nominate 5 fellow bloggers for this award.
- Thank the blogger and link back to the blogger who awarded you the Liebster Award.
- Upload the award to your blog. It can be done as a blog or on the sidebar.
- Answer the questions you have been asked.
- Nominate 5 blogs with followers less than 200 that you believe deserve to receive the award. You are always welcome to nominate more folks.
- Notify the nominated bloggers so that they can accept the award. Bloggers can be nominated more than once, giving their readers more chances to learn more about them.
What has been your biggest challenge with blogging?
My biggest challenge is me.
What is your number one tip for other bloggers?
Write about what motivates you and don’t listen to naysayers.
What are your hobbies other than blogging?
Genealogy – Love, love, love helping friends discover their roots.
What successful entrepreneur do you admire and why?
You’re going to laugh at this one. But seriously, I admire Jessica Fletcher, fictional character from Murder She Wrote. Liked by all she meets and never knows a stranger. Not to mention she’s a terrific writer. Okay, I don’t really admire her in the real sense… but if she were a real person she would be my role model.
Who is your favorite blogger and why?
Kim at Growing Faith. She writes about real life; struggles and successes with her children, family, herself, and her ministry to the homeless.
Tell us about your blog and why you started blogging.
I started writing because I felt the Lord prompting me to share my life, warts, disasters, joys and all, as a Christian who strives to walk with Jesus each step of the way; who fails more than she succeeds I fear.
Item you can’t live without.
Bible and computer
What and who motivate you to write?
The Holy Spirit. My hubby is my number one earthly fan 🙂

I’m now supposed to give my nominees a list of 5 questions to answer similar to those I answered above. No questions will be given. Most of my nominee’s are dealing with a chronic, energy zapping, disease. I’m happy to nominate you and share your blogs without strings. Of course if you would like to participate by answering questions and by nominating other worthy bloggers, feel free to answer the same questions I answered above.
